Our door panel kits are made from 3 ply high quality ABS plastic! The backing layer is black ABS. A mid layer, which is the color and pattern layer, is finished off with a high UV protectant clear ABS coating! This grade of ABS prevents damaging sun rays from destroying your product over time. The black back coat blends well into the existing door panel to hide unwanted edge reveal, making your finished product look factory! As an added advantage, the high UV resistant clear can be color sanded and polished just like an automotive clear, using the same procedure for high gloss finishes.
